BRIGHTER is a national initiative using renewable energy education to power sustainable development in Burundi.
We empower a new generation by integrating high-quality renewable energy skills and gender inclusion into university curricula, preparing students for the green economy. By fostering youth and women’s entrepreneurship through innovation hubs and startups, we create local jobs and drive progress. In partnership with regional universities and the Ministry of Education, BRIGHTER is building a nationwide, premier higher education program in renewable energy systems.
